talves studio was founded in 2020 with a creative and multi-purposed focus in design, illustration and photography.

Its portfolio includes works for private clients as well as some proposals for competitions and personal works. The studio also dedicates itself to other projects such as research and documentation of Portuguese tiles (Azulejo Luso) and analogue photography.

‘talves’ is originated from the contraction of the founder’s name: ‘Tiago’, and ‘Alves’ from his mother.

Tiago Alves Miranda was born in Lisbon in 1987. He completed his high school education in Mechanics and by the end of 2017 he attained his Masters of Science in Architecture at the University of Lisbon. In 2020 he became a member of the Portuguese Architects Association.
